This app is great plays all sorts of files.

It cant find any home upnp servers to connect to. Useless.

If you do have an home network, this apps is the best. Youll be able to watch your movie directly from your wireless HDD. Seriously, this app deserves more love!

Despite the latest iOS 9.3 update and player 2.14 update, still no sound from movies with Dolby Digital codec.

Doesnt let you open local media files in free version

Plays mts files on DLNA perfectly unlike VLC.

So I decided to give this a try. I must say. So far so good. I can create an hotspot from my phone and connect my iPad to that network with no 3G network and the on my s4 I use bubbleupnp as a server and then use 8 player to watch my movies without lag spike like Vlc does and it works awesome. So I will buy the paid version in the coming days. Thanks to the Devi I like your app keep up the good work

Maybe I havent set up the Lite player properly but I cant even stream one video from my WDLive to my iPad....theres a message displayed about the Lite version only allowing the playing of a limited number of videos. This is my first video play attempt! Ill give it a go again but if I get the same....I delete the app.

Good but no way to cast to Google Chromecast

This really works. My media server is nero mediahome. All my videos played with no problem.

Very good performance with mvk and avi movies. Need subtitle support.

You can get lost in the ps3-like menu with a lot of entries.

Hi the app is far more stable than competitors, the audio upnp streaming is fluent. However the music stops playing when screen locks, which makes this music player useless. If this feature would be fixed this player caould be the best upnp software.

Great player, support all kind of video and audio formats. DLNA over VPN - awesome!

I use this app as audio player. It finds DLNA very well. The app has good customization. Just one thing stopping me purchase this product. This app doesnt support CUE for lossless audio formats, for FLAC for example. It cant split FLAC files to songs. The app do not supports APE format neither.
